as I am writing this it is aftrenoon here in Iran, 15 pm. That means the DV2016 results have been available for 17 hours. So far, I have not seen a single verified “selected” case. Some people have claimed success.
So – it is feeling like something is wrong. We might be seeing another technical problem. It wouldn’t be the first in recent years.
In 2012 the selection program had some testing code left switched on that meant all the winners selected were from the first couple of days of entries. People were notified they were winner, and others were told they were not. The bug was identified, the results were cancelled and the draw was redone.
In DV2015 there was a glitch where some people saw a not selected message by mistake when they were actually winners. This was resolved within a day or so and some people have been contacted by email to suggest they checked the result again – whereupon they found they were winners.
So how about this year?
There seems to be two different cases.
1. In one case the entry is checked and almost instantly the system returns “not selected”.
2. In the other case the entry is checked and after a slightly longer period (1 to 2 seconds) the system returns a message saying “Session Timed out”
There is a consistency of this second message – some cases always get it whilst the not selected cases are just as reliable. Some people are getting messages through incorrect data input, but that is not what I am referring to.
The regularity and the consistency of the session timed out message is making me feel these cases are somehow different to the not selected – and since that can only mean the opposite of not selected, I am speculating that these cases may in fact be winners. So – I am saying the cases that return “not selected are indeed not selected, but those that go straight to session timed out might be winners.
I have details for eight cases like this at the moment. I am hopeful that DoS will resolve whatever issue they are having and I have my fingers crossed for those that may be about to get some good news.

دوست عزيز چرا داري تحريك ميكني كه اين ايميل رو بزنيد . چرا داري كار را براي سالهاي بعد بغرنج تر ميكني، ما چه طلبي از اونا داريم كه....... حداقل بزارين اين روال بمونه تا شايد شاهين اقبال فرصت نشستن روي شونه دوستداران مهاجرت پيدا كنه . اگه دوست دارين خودتون اينكارو انجام بديد . من هم به اين سال هم سالهاي بعد اميدوارم و از هيچ كسي هم طلب ندارم. اگر براي من شد عالي اگر نشد راه بقيه هموطن هامو سد نميكنم .ممنون

دوستمون خیلی زحمت کشیدن این متن انگلیسی کپی از وبلاگ بریت سیمون معروف هست با کمی تغییرات ؟؟!! حداقل به ترجمش توجه بشه که آبرومون نره .کپی پیست کار خطرناکیه و الابختکی ممکنه مشکل ساز بشه !!

دوستان عزیزم قدری تحمل و بردباری داشته باشید . اینطوری که در فرو م معروف immigration.com هم دیده میشود اغلب شرکت کنندگان از سراسر جهان با علامت سوال و البته اعتراض پیگیر شده اند . قطعاً این تاپیک نه جای امید دادن بیخودی هست و نه جای مایوس نمودن ... توصیه می کنم روی اطلاع رسانی موثق و انتشار راه کارهای منطقی متمرکز شوید .
الان هم ممکنه واقعاً اشکال فنی باشه دو تا مثال بزنم . پارسال برای یکی از اقوام در روز دوم چک می کردم ... نامه قبولی یک بنده خدایی از یکی از کشورهای عربی اشتباهاً بازشد .. خوب با تمام اطلاعات و بارکدش !!! این هم خیلی بده چون ممکنه باعث سو استفاده و ایجاد مشکل برای فرد برنده بشه . بعدشم اعلام شد که بعله یک مشکل تکنیکی بوده که رفع شده . دومیش خودم که به جای می در آگست قبولیمو دیدم ( البته این کار من اتفاقی بوده و اصلاً جایز نیست ) . به خدا توکل کنید . انشاله به همه آرزوهای خوب و قشنگتون برسید .
